We are seeking for an of our customers in the semiconductor industry an experienced Global Market Strategy Manager, who can develop, implement, and oversee strategic marketing initiatives. This position will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that align with the business unit's goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth and strengthen brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, technological advancements, and the competitive landscape, particularly in the semiconductor industry (focusing on backend processes).
  • Analyze data and insights to identify opportunities for product development, marketing campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze information required for the creation of new business areas beyond SUSS's existing operations (including M&A opportunities).

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the business unit's medium- and long-term goals.
  • Work closely with the business unit's leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into effective marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate and develop strategies for increasing brand awareness, evaluating technical partnerships, and establishing go-to-market strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales, product development, product managers, and Marcom teams to ensure consistency and integration of marketing strategies across all touchpoints.
  • Work with external agencies, vendors, and partners, as needed, to enhance technology marketing and promote collaborations.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget for strategic initiatives and campaigns.
  • Effectively allocate resources and manage the ROI of marketing activities to maximize investments

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Over 5 years of experience in strategic marketing with a proven track record of driving growth and success in marketing roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (experience presenting at technical conferences is a plus).
  • Experience using marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.
  • A high-level network in the semiconductor industry (especially in backend processes, preferred).
  • Experience with international travel and dealings with companies in Asia, US and/or Western customers
